Small bites: Lilly’s new menu, Lola’s $15 meals, and Campanile’s market fresh Wednesdays

Campanile makes it market fresh. Inspired by the Wednesday Santa Monica Farmer’s Market that evening at Campanile will feature a three-course tasting menu using fresh market produce, for $25 per person. A recent menu included: curried shrimp gazpacho, cannolicchi pasta with lima beans and squash blossoms, and melon with mint. Wine pairing is also available. 624 S. Lilly’s menu makeover. Abbot Kinney’s French cafe Lilly’s, has a new bar menu that includes three pizzas (smoked salmon, barbecued chicken, and grilled vegetables), tartines with Brie and figs and barbecue short ribs with mushrooms. There are new appetizers, too: crab and avocado tower, and caramelized onion tart. $15 meals at Lola’s. This month, Lola’s is featuring special entrees paired with a cocktail, beer or wine several nights of the week. On Monday, spaghetti and meatballs is paired with Blackstone Pinot Noir, Tuesday, it’s a burger with French fries and a pint of Stella Artois. Friday is salmon in wine sauce with a glass of EOS Chardonnay. Saturday has a stir-fry with a TsingTao beer and Sunday is pork chop with mashed potatoes and Lola’s apple martini.
