The Capital Grille, an East Coast chain of steak restaurants, comes to Los Angeles on July 26 with a menu that includes lobster mac ‘n’ cheese, lobster and crab cakes, fried calamari with hot peppers, Kona crusted sirloin, citrus-glazed salmon and flourless chocolate espresso cake. In addition to the Grille’s traditional menu, it has a bar menu that includes chilled ginger shrimp, steak sandwich with mushrooms, Parmesan truffle fries and an “adults only” Arnold Palmer. 8614 Beverly Blvd.; (310) 358-0650; thecapitalgrille.com.On Aug. 30, Seasons 52, a chain based in the South, is expected to open in Orange County. The menu is wide-ranging, including buffalo chili with corn cakes, chipotle shrimp flatbread, lemongrass salmon, caramelized sea scallops, and chocolate peanut butter mousse. Thirsty?
