Just when you thought Hollywood couldn’t get more, well, Hollywood, Thrillist reports on a new rock ‘n’ roll-themed bar called Loaded from the bros behind Big Wangs.

Located on Hollywood Boulevard between Cahuenga and Vine, Loaded is dressed up to look dressed down. Kind of like if Disneyland opened up a CBGBs in Adventureland, but without the graffiti and unidentifiable bathroom fungus.

The website features an all-too-predictable mix of iconic rockers including Sid Vicious, Lou Reed and Kurt Cobain in his mad-scientist lab coat phase. It also shows an image of a ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ guitar pick, a logo I can no longer look at without thinking of the boxer shorts that Ninja from the South African group Die Antwoord wears in the band’s best video to date.

Still, the menu has promise. Particularly the house specialty, which is called B.O.B. (Brother on a Budget) and offers a 24-ounce Busch ‘pounder,’ a shot of booze from the well and a cigarette for $8. After all, nothing says ‘I’m a rocker’ quite like watery American beer, ethanol alcohol and a GPC.

For food, you’ll find cheeseburgers, pizza, tater tots and salad with ranch dressing. Yes, just ranch. There’s also a pretty great special from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily that allows you to get two drinks for just $1 more. Um, I know where I’m gonna meet my future husband, and how I’ll do it.

Loaded, 6377 Hollywood Blvd., L.A. (323) 464-5689.
