Summer specials: Asia de Cuba in the breezy Mondrian hotel is jumping into summer with two lounge-around-friendly specials. The first, called ‘Out of Office Fridays,’ features a special Friday afternoon menu of $5 specials and is served between the hooky-centric hours of 1 and 4 p.m. Offerings include tuna pica, crab croquettes, lobster shiitake potstickers and icy mojitos. A $5 valet charge is also on offer during that time. The second, ‘Havana Nights,’ launches on June 8. It boasts a late-night menu from 10 p.m. until close, during which time Cuban-inspired fare will be offered as three-course prix-fixe meals or on a $10 a la carte menu. Cigar smoking is welcome! 8440 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood. (323) 848-6000. www.chinagrillmgt.com.

The lunches consist of a sandwich (turkey provolone, grilled veggies, roast beef or chicken salad); a side of coleslaw or potato salad; and a canned drink (Coke, Diet Coke or a sparkling juice). Delivery service also includes traditional menu items and is available daily from 11 a.m. to midnight. 1608 N. Cahuenga Blvd., L.A. (323) 465-2424. www.kitchen24.info.
