June 2, 2010 |  8:00 am

Street food: Susan Feniger's restaurant Street (which specializes in global street food) is hitting L.A.'s streets on Tuesday, June 8, and Tuesday, June 15, on board the philanthropic food truck Cart for a Cause. Cart for a Cause serves gourmet $10 lunches crafted by some of L.A.'s most notable chefs with proceeds benefiting St. Vincent Meals on wheels. Feniger's menu consists of Vietnamese pulled pork sandwiches; spicy Korean miso chicken wings; Burmese melon salad; and soba noodles with marinated tofu. On the 8th the truck can be found at Trailer Park (an entertainment company), 6922 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood; and on the 15th it will be at Roll International, 11444 W. Olympic Blvd., L.A. www.cartforacause.com.

Summer specials: Asia de Cuba in the breezy Mondrian hotel is jumping into summer with two lounge-around-friendly specials. The first, called "Out of Office Fridays," features a special Friday afternoon menu of $5 specials and is served between the hooky-centric hours of 1 and 4 p.m. Offerings include tuna pica, crab croquettes, lobster shiitake potstickers and icy mojitos. A $5 valet charge is also on offer during that time. The second, "Havana Nights," launches on June 8. It boasts a late-night menu from 10 p.m. until close, during which time Cuban-inspired fare will be offered as three-course prix-fixe meals or on a $10 a la carte menu. Cigar smoking is welcome! 8440 Sunset Blvd., West Hollywood. (323) 848-6000. www.chinagrillmgt.com.

Picnics delivered: In order to help Angelenos better enjoy prime picnic season (think trips to the Hollywood Bowl, the Greek theater and movie night at Hollywood Forever Cemetery), Kitchen 24 is now delivering $12.95 picnic lunches. The lunches consist of a sandwich (turkey provolone, grilled veggies, roast beef or chicken salad); a side of coleslaw or potato salad; and a canned drink (Coke, Diet Coke or a sparkling juice). Delivery service also includes traditional menu items and is available daily from 11 a.m. to midnight. 1608 N. Cahuenga Blvd., L.A. (323) 465-2424. www.kitchen24.info.
