The Glendon Bar & Kitchen: Westwood scores some nightlife points as this chic restaurant and lounge debuts featuring a double happy hour (at 4 p.m. and 10 p.m.) alongside full lunch and dinner menus crafted around California comfort food (think fresh pasta, seasonal veggies, classic salads and lots of low-calorie options). Dessert is decadent and overseen by pastry chef Renee Faris, who also appeared on TLC’s ‘Cake Boss.’ The bar also has launched a $5 martini menu, offering apple martinis, lemon drops and cosmopolitans all night. Vaulted wood ceilings give the interior an open feel, while warm and welcoming couches and wing chairs in dark-brown tones (custom-made by the furniture designer Jecco) keep things cozy. 1071 Glendon Ave., Westwood.
