Lisa Lillien of Encino is back at the No. 1 spot on the New York Times bestseller list with ‘Hungry Girl 1-2-3: The Easiest, Most Delicious, Guilt-Free Recipes on the Planet.’ Why this is even more remarkable: It’s the second time she’s done it within a year’s time. Her last book, ‘Hungry Girl: 200 Under 200: 200 Recipes Under 200 Calories’ also debuted in the No. 1 spot in the advice category in April 2009. It seems we just can’t get enough of her words of snacking wisdom. Lillien, who has a million subscribers to her online newsletter, specializes in crafting recipes that are indulgent but, as the book titles suggest, won’t make you hate yourself in the morning.

Lillien said she was thrilled, but gave ‘Hungry Girl’ fans plenty of the credit. ‘I am super-excited and proud of the accomplishment,’ Lillien said via e-mail.

‘It is definitely rare to have two cookbooks debut at #1 on the list within a year but I have the Hungry Girl audience to thank that for that. They are the BEST and are so loyal. I am amazed and excited about the audience embracing this book the way they have. I think it’s the best of the three HG books and I have been hearing that from the fans as well...’
