'Hungry Girl' is No. 1 once again
It seems we just can't get enough of her words of snacking wisdom. Lillien, who has a million subscribers to her online newsletter, specializes in crafting recipes that are indulgent but, as the book titles suggest, won't make you hate yourself in the morning.
Lillien said she was thrilled, but gave "Hungry Girl" fans plenty of the credit. "I am super-excited and proud of the accomplishment," Lillien said via e-mail.
"It is definitely rare to have two cookbooks debut at #1 on the list within a year but I have the Hungry Girl audience to thank that for that. They are the BEST and are so loyal. I am amazed and excited about the audience embracing this book the way they have. I think it's the best of the three HG books and I have been hearing that from the fans as well..."

I have all the Hungry Girl books and will soon be adding this one. The recipes really are good. They may not always be "the best I've ever tasted!!" - I mean, exchaning fiber flakes for corn flakes or a good olf-fashioned flour dredge is a hard adjustment - but the dishes are for the most part certainly enjoyable enough replacements for "the real thing," often at a tiny fraction of the calories, fat, etc. I've enjoyed finding new ways to prepare old favorites, and have even had "200 under 200" parties where a group of friends gather just to prepare and taste the recipes... it's fun and practically guilt free! :)
