Anthony Bourdain: Tickets to his UCLA appearance in June go on sale April 9

No, Anthony Bourdain won’t be opening a Les Halles on Balboa Island, but he will be at UCLA on Wednesday, June 16, to speak about his work and travels, including an open question-and-answer session with the audience. The planned talk will follow the June 8 release of his new book, ‘Medium Raw: A Bloody Valentine to the World of Food and the People Who Cook’ (Harper Collins).

Bourdain, dubbed “the bad boy of cuisine,” is the star of the Travel Channel’s ‘No Reservations,’ executive chef at New York’s Les Halles restaurant and the author of ‘Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly.’

Bourdain will speak at Royce Hall at 8 p.m. on June 16. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 9, at 10 a.m. Tickets are available online at Ticketmaster.com or at (310) 825-2101, at all Ticketmaster locations, and at the UCLA Central Ticket Office.

A limited number of VIP tickets also will be available, and includes premiere seating within the first five rows and access to a meet-and-greet with Bourdain catered by sponsor Wilshire restaurant.
