A sweet-treat alert for your Valentine at Whist

As I'm sure you're well aware, plenty of L.A. restaurants are offering dinner and brunch specials on Valentine's Day. I wouldn't know about any of that since I'm planning on spending the holiday -- appropriately enough -- in Death Valley. Really. But for those of you who will be in town, I thought I'd turn you on to one of my favorite little Valentine's Day offerings: the Chocolate Board at Whist.

As you can see from this yummy picture, it's a board of sweet treats including organic raw chocolate; homemade chocolate sorbet; chocolate-raspberry ganache with toasted ciabatta; and a pink peppercorn-and-cinnamon infused shot of hot cocoa. It scores points in my opinion because it is cleverly served up on a charcuterie board. Now that's just cute, and hopefully so is your date.
