LA Mill Coffee Boutique now has its beer and wine license, say owners Craig Min and Jean Shim-Min. Soon the Silverlake cafe will be rolling out a list of beer, wine, sake and soju selections -- as carefully chosen as its menu of coffees and teas.

You can also expect a new menu to follow (possibly as soon as next month), put together by Providence chef Michael Cimarusti, something maybe a little more scaled-back than his current offerings of house-cured Tasmanian sea trout (one of my favorite dishes) or pork belly risotto with apricots and pu-erh tea. ‘I’d like a menu with an emphasis on value,’ Craig Min says.
