Cardamom is a favorite in the L.A. Times Test Kitchen, which favors using this holiday spice whenever you'd use cinnamon. These rolls have a double dose of its sweet, aromatic, magical flavor, both in the dough and in the topping. They would be nice to serve for company come the holidays.
