Thanksgiving countdown: Spiced pumpkin soup

Nothing says Thanksgiving like soup served in a pumpkin.
This soup gets its heat from poblanos, a bit of paprika and New Mexico chile powder. It's offset by some maple syrup.
And, of course, it has some bacon in it.
One nice touch for planning purposes: The mini pumpkins can be roasted several hours ahead.
