Raising vegetarian children

If you're raising a child in a vegetarian household, power struggles and awkward social issues are bound to crop up. (And if you're a meat-eating household, don't be surprised if you suddenly find yourself with a teen who renounces eating meat.) That, and much more, in a special report in today's Health section:

I'm raised as a vegetarian. Never had any problem with that. Never wanted to eat meat. My son and daughter are also raised as vegetarian. For birthdayparty at friends we asked the host not to serve meat to our children. It was never a problem. My children are adult now, and still vegetarian.
