Small Bites: Rush Street celebrates Christmas in August, the Waffle celebrates National Waffle Day

Christmas in August: It starts earlier every year. Today and tomorrow, Rush Street is serving Christmas dinner with all the trimmings: rib roast, maple-roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, roasted baby root vegetables and glazed Brussels sprouts. There will even be Christmas-themed drink specials, tree decorating, a tree lighting ceremony, pictures with Santa, ‘deer pong’ and a white-elephant gift party Saturday.
