Snapshot: Waffled French toast and a grilled salmon BLT

We now resume our semi-regularly scheduled programming with more pictures of our readers’ favorite food creations. Pictured here are two delicious-looking offerings from Remil S. Mangali. They are, from left, waffled French toast and a salmon BLT. Says Mangali:

The Waffled French Toast was inspired by @FoodPorn on Twitter. It was posted yesterday morning and I couldn’t wait to make them this morning. I made my usual French Toast recipe and simply cooked them in my waffle maker. I added a ¼ cup of Amaretto instead of the usual vanilla.

The Salmon BLT was inspired by @deelish777 also on Twitter. She showed me a picture and I made my own version. I purchased some ½ baked ciabattini and I grilled it in my Panini press. The salmon I actually just baked with some mayo and Lipton onion soup mix sprinkled on top. To complete the sandwich I used some low sodium bacon, butter lettuce and roma tomatoes. And there you have it.
