Fans frosted their favorite cupcake joints were overlooked

No surprise, but we heard from plenty of readers about why a cupcake we didn't include in our story is really the best one out there. One reader, in language unsuitable for a family blog, let us know he (or she?) would never pay $3 for a cupcake. But can you put a price on perfection?

We haven't tried Whodiddly in Montecito, but one reader called it "seriously better than Sprinkles."

And a reader named Lola took us to task for not including Babycakes Baking Co. in Torrance, which she says "can beat the pants off of any of the bakeries you mentioned in the article." She drives from the Westside to Torrance to get them, and recommends the hot chocolate cupcake.
