3 guys + 292 square feet = 1 cute coffee shop.

It seems that every time I blink, a new spot opens on Spring Street. But it’s easy to miss this micro-coffee joint that opened a few weeks ago in the SB Lofts building at 6th Street. Jess Ritz alerted me to the goings-on of co-owners Archie Hernandez, Maru Nagano and Ken Yoshitake.

There are just a few seats and a couple of tables outside on the sidewalk; inside the tiny space are charming touches such as an antique chandelier and a music stand recovered from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. They’re pulling espressos from a La Marzocco GB5 (you can also get your coffee fix via other various brewing methods) with a rotating roster of beans from Intelligentsia, LA Mill and Equator (there are Equator teas too). The milk is from Straus Family Creamery. And Röckenwagner pastries are delivered daily.
