Magnolia in downtown kicks off happy hour

MagnoliadowntownBeginning today, the recently opened downtown outpost of Magnolia starts offering happy hour. Monday through Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. you can get discounts like $4 beer (Stella, Bud Light); select cocktails for $7 (cosmos, greyhounds and apple martinis); four wines for $5 per glass (Canaletto Pinot Grigio, Black Opal Chardonnay, Hob Nob Pinot Noir, Distant Bay Cabernet); and a handful of $6 appetizers: calamari, chicken satay skewers, bruschetta, sweet potato fries, hummus and pita, calamari and fried goat cheese.
