Book signing dinner at Rivera: Rivera is celebrating Michael Crouser’s photographic monograph ‘Los Toros,’ a black-and-white narrative depicting the world of the bullfight. This event is a book signing and cocktail party. Crouser also will unveil his panoramic bullring mural and image of matadora Cristina Sánchez as permanent additions to Rivera’s dining room. A four-course prix-fixe ‘Los Toros’ dinner will be offered for $65, and mixologist Julian Cox will introduce a new cocktail. Wednesday. What’s new at Grace: Grace chef-owner Neal Fraser has announced a new spring menu at his Beverly Boulevard restaurant, including a seasonal prix-fixe menu that’s $45 for three courses (wine pairings will cost an additional $25). On the prix-fixe menu: house-cured Tasmanian salmon with herb blini and horseradish crème fraîche; slow-cooked wild halibut with English pea risotto, ramps, chanterelles and green garlic; and Meyer lemon ricotta cheese cake with candied kumquats, Thai basil vodka and poppy-seed tuile. 7360 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, (323) 934-4400, www.gracerestaurant.com.

Table manners for kids: A six-part series of classes for children and teens at Piccolo Chef Culinary Academy for the Young Gourmet. Class 1 starts with topics such as sneezing and coughing, keeping promises and pointing and whispering. By the final class, kids will have learned the finer points of passing items with a serving utensil, how to handle difficult foods (ribs, fried chicken), sending food back and buffet dining.
