Get in line: Free pizza tonight at Two Boots' grand opening party
Since its "soft opening" two weeks ago, Two Boots -- at 1814 W. Sunset Blvd. -- has been pretty much jampacked on a nightly basis. That no one thought to open a pizza-by-the-slice place in the neighborhood until now is kind of astounding. I've heard a few gripes from people who wish the funky pizzeria were a Los Angeles institution rather than a New York import, but that hasn't stopped them from making repeat visits.
Expect a line tonight, from 6 to 8, as Two Boots officially launches itself by offering free slices and soda. Owner Phil Hartman will be there to join in the festivities.

tried it last weekend and seems off to a great start -- kind of impressive considering the glut of pizza joints we now have in the EP/SL/LF area. some thoughts at foodcomma.blogspot.com
