Former Rustic Canyon Wine Bar and Seasonal Kitchen chef Samir Mohajer moved on to start his own restaurant with a few different concepts in mind. At one point he was hoping to open a classy little joint on par with Rustic Canyon, featuring wine and dressed-up dinner options. But when the economy began to sour he decided on Cabbage Patch, a cute little counter-service restaurant awash in lime-green hues on South Beverly Drive in Beverly Hills. The prices are reasonable, the food organic and the service fast enough to make going for a quick power lunch perfectly practical.
