Farmers at the Original Farmers Market at 3rd and Fairfax have become a regular sight, now that there are a few stands on the plaza Thursdays through Sundays.

The farmers who are currently rotating at the site are: Soledad Goats from the Mojave Desert, selling handmade goat cheese and organic eggs; Ha’s Apple Farm from Tehachapi, which in addition to apples has pears, dried fruit and cider; Maggie’s Farm from Tarzana, which sells herbs and lettuces, arugula; Diaz Farms from Fresno, with citrus and grapes; Flora Bella Farm from Three Rivers, which grows a variety of things including squash and greens; and Jaime Farms, with several locations and selling a variety of produce.

“Regulars at community farmers markets know who the best growers are,” said Stan Savage, the market manager. “The best growers will now be in one location regularly at the Original Farmers Market.’
