The judges are a little severe in their comments when judging whats being prepared for them. After watching the Sun show it seem to be more personel than ever, if I would hear about the raw onions again it was like a movie No More Wire Hangers, it became a joke. The four chefs that takes on their challenge seems to do pretty darn well with the mystery ingredients, and limited time thats before them. I have a suggestion swap place each segment with one of the judges and lets see who can really bring it.

Chef Josh on Food Network was singled out,but even being chopped he was the better person. If I would hear about red onions one more time it was like no more wire hangers!I thought the chefs were pretty impressive for the limited time to prepare dishes with surprise ingredients.Judges seems to not know how to judge without deflecting their ideas on the perfect dish, this is about taste, creativity and presentation. Preferance of ones liking is so unfair and is done more than this particular example.Judges tone your views with sincerity.

This week's episode of Chopped was THE WORST! The decision for winner was clearly personal, based on personality conflict, and the one judge's baby fit over onions! The "winning" chef didn't even complete his plate, clearly handing victor to his competitor, but for the unethical decision of the judges to go against the rules! I'm disgusted. I do love Chopped, but it's so clearly crooked, it's not worth watching, anymore.

I have been a fan of Ted Allen for quite awhile
what has happened to his NICE style
His voice has turned into a sharp and iritating style
I realize the show is Chopped but why take a nice
guy and turn his personality off?
He could talk more freindly and still hit the key word
CHOPPED with out sounding so cruel

Ted isn't qualified to judge ANYONE. This program is the PITTS!!!! Why would any network showcase a program that is soooooo NEGATIVE? Ted and this show need to be CHOPPED!!!!!

Ugh, so painful to watch I couldn't finish it. Jerky camera work, low production values, and randomly strange (strangely random?) judge comments ("ohh, he just killed that abalone" like they weren't gonna be eaten anyway).

I couldn't help but think Ted Allen really struggled in nailing down his persona in that first taping. He seemed so stiff and Food Network manipulated (read: coached to be more ENERGETIC!!!) I was cringing throughout the entire show.
As much as I love competitive cooking shows, this one will not be on my Tivo do to list.

"Chop" Ted Allen & his other show, the guy just doesn't have it. Why is it that I get the impression that he couldn't make himself a peanut butter sandwich? And he's judging other people?!! I don't think so!!
