Will Triumphal Palace reopen this week?

A colleague asked if we had heard whether or not Triumphal Palace in Alhambra was closing down for good. The restaurant closed recently, with a "new management" sign in the window, and some worried whether the restaurant would indeed reopen. A phone call to the restaurant Monday allayed some of our dim-sum-black-hole fears. The restaurant, after "some renovations," according to a Triumphal Palace employee, will reopen Thursday. Fingers crossed, for suckling pig.

I hope Triumphal Palace resurfaces. There was another name listed on the window recently, but that was before you contacted the restaurant. They had/have the best dim sum in town, and any place that serves suckling pig is always welcome.
