This Just In: Preview tastings at Rivera next week

Chef John Rivera Sedlar's restaurant, Rivera, is slated to open next month, but a sneak-preview tasting will be offered next week -- Monday to Wednesday -- featuring "a selection of tapas, mixology and Latin wines," according to a news release. The restaurant will offer a menu of four platos pequeños (small plates), four drinks by Rivera's mixologists and four wines by the glass. Reservations or first come, first served. 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday  and 7 p.m. to midnight Wednesday. Rivera, 1050 S. Flower St., Los Angeles, (213) 749-1460.
