We do have them, unless you exclude Korean supermarkets from "our" supermarkets. I've bought a bag of these before here in LA, at Hannam Market World, I believe. Just go to a Korean supermarket and they should have them in the snack aisle, along with all the corn snacks.

The British have them too. Walker's Bacon Crisps... you can find them at many British stores in So Cal... and they're awesome.

This article is a nightmare every time I glance at the headline...I'm allergic to pork. Ha ha! :)

With these Bacon Chips, why am I reminded of a dog running around saying/thinking; Bacon, Bacon, Bacon!

I am so surprised that y'all have never seen these in the states. In the early 1980's, Golden Flake, a snack company here in Birmingham, Alabama offered virtually the same thing in two flavors mind you. I loved them and would get a bag every time I could. Their flavors were much less racy plain and barbecue.

They tasted like a bland, puffy bacon bit.

I would say fried pork rinds are the closest things you can find now a-days. In rural areas I have seen them in barbecue, honey mustard and teriyaki flavors.

Thanks for posting this. It brings back such good memories.

By the way, salty bacon and dark chocolate make a wonderful match.
