This just in: Obama takes the cake in food and drink polls

As polls in the East near closing time, Eater L.A., which has been diligently tracking the various food and drink polls that have been taking place at restaurants and bars around town, has posted results indicating an Obama victory of the palate.

Obama’s biggest win so far appears to be at the Crumbs bake shops, where 278 Obama cupcakes have been sold compared with 43 McCain cupcakes. For a breakdown and analysis of the full results, go to Eater L.A.
