Yesterday the Times ran a story on a new exotic sausage-and-beer restaurant in downtown L.A.’s Arts District called Wurstküche. Since then the story has been hovering near the top of our most e-mailed list. Which can only mean one thing: you guys love sausage (and beer). And not just any kind of sausage. Wurstküche specializes in exotic sausage, like rattlesnake and rabbit; and alligator and hickory-smoked pork. The accompanying beer list is 24 names deep, and contains rich and frothy favorites like Chimay Grande Reserve Blue and Delirium Noctornum.

Wurstkuche, 800 E. 3rd Street, L.A., (213) 687-4444. www.wurstkucherestaurant.com.
