Some of us are fumbling with cooking just one turkey for Thanksgiving.

But apparently some of you out there are stocking up on turkeys as a way to save money. At least that’s the advice from Teri Gault at the Grocery Game, a quickly growing -- and somewhat controversial -- website about couponing. (You’d hardly think couponing would be controversial. But our story about Gault brought several e-mails of thanks -- as well as several e-mails complaining that she had a lot of gall to charge folks for her information, and taking us to task for writing about the Santa Clarita-based Gault.)

If you are stocking up on turkeys, we’ve got plenty of easy-to-make recipes for you, and we’ll soon have that leftovers package posted. And if you are like the rest of us, don’t panic. There’s still time to get a turkey dinner on the table. (If you are really pressed for time, check out this recipe for ‘Hurry-up turkey.’)

And be sure to check back here at noon Wednesday when Times test kitchen manager Noelle Carter will be online to help you with any last-minute emergencies. (If you cannot make the chat, shoot us an e-mail with your questions and we’ll get them answered anyway. We’re all service!)

Remember: An electronic drumstick to anyone who can stump her.
