A watch to go with those Crocs

You’ve just been dying for a Mario Batali watch, haven’t you? To match your orange Crocs. Soon you can get a Batali limited-edition Ernst Benz, with orange accents, of course. A colleague from the Image section forwarded the press release, which says that they’re available in three sizes, limited and numbered to 250, and that they will be available in the fall at Batali’s newest, the B&B Ristorante in Las Vegas ($2,500 to $4,500). Sure, you’ve had a little warm’s lamb tongue, homemade orechiette, fennel-dusted sweetbreads and a bottle of Verdicchio -- why not pick up a watch on the way out? Too bad it doesn’t have a picture of Batali on it, I told my colleague (reminiscing about a Bionic Woman watch that I loved in the first grade). She replied, ‘My favorite joke: How he’d look at 6:30.’
