“Grand Canyon Serenade” 8:30 p.m. Friday KOCE: A visual tour of the Grand Canyon is set to classical music by Tchaikovsky, Brahms and Dvorak.

“Celtic Thunder Storm” 5:30 p.m. Saturday KVCR: A performance includes original music by Irish composer Phil Coulter, including “New Day Dawning,” “Tender Is the Night,” “Storm Overture” and “Look at Me.”

“Forever Plaid” 12:30 a.m. Saturday KVCR: The off-Broadway musical revue centers on four young male singers killed in a car crash on the way to their first major show; narrator David Hyde Pierce.

Movie: "The Red Shoes” (1948) 5:30 a.m. Sunday TCM: Moira Shearer, Anton Walbrook. A ballerina loves a ballet composer but dances for an obsessive impresario.

Movie: "After the Storm” (2009) 10 a.m. Tuesday LOGO: Broadway actors help the youth of New Orleans.

“Top Chef: Just Desserts” 7 p.m. Wednesday Bravo: Sweet Symphony: To celebrate the Los Angeles Philharmonic, the chefs must create a cake experience in three movements to be served to the symphony members and patrons after a performance.

“NOVA” 9 p.m. Wednesday KOCE: Engineering Ground Zero: Architects and engineers plan the construction of One World Trade Center and the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. (N)
