The Times' L.A. Now blog reports that a Rembrandt work being shown in a private art exhibition at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey was stolen Saturday.

The work by Rembrandt van Rijn, the renowned 17th century Dutch painter and etcher, is said to be titled "The Judgment." It belongs to the Linearis Institute, which occasionally displays its collections in upscale hotels.

For more on the stolen Rembrandt, see the L.A. Now item.
