L.A. Phil cancels concert by Spanish early music specialist Jordi Savall

The Los Angeles Philharmonic has canceled Tuesday's scheduled concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall by Jordi Savall, Hesperion XXI and the Tembembe Ensamble Continuo.
The Phil announced that Savall, the musician and ensemble leader who specializes in the early music of his Spanish homeland, has sustained an unspecified injury and can't travel. The program, focusing on music the Spanish brought with them to New Mexico in the 17th century, will not be rescheduled, and refunds will be issued.
