The talk of the London theater world right now is Oscar-winning director Danny Boyle’s production of “Frankenstein.” And NT Live will broadcast two separate performances of the production, which will allow audiences the chance of seeing Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller alternate in the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the Creature.

This new play by Nick Dear adapts Mary Shelley’s indestructible novel, but the advance word is that the harrowing visuals steal the show. Decide for yourself: The first of these broadcasts will take place on Thursday at the Downtown Independent and Hollywood’s Mann Chinese 6. Visit www.ntlive.com for schedule information and a complete list of participating venues, including La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
