Twelve Days of Christmas Flash Mobs: Yo is just oy backwards (happy belated Hanukkah)

December 21, 2010 |  9:30 am

Hanukkah came (and went) a bit early this year but this flash mob, filmed in 2009 on Ben-Yehuda Street in downtown Jerusalem, was too good to be disqualified on a technicality.

"Hanukkah Hey Ya" is a cover of Outkast's "Hey Ya" by Smooth-E

By the way, if your Hanukkah knowledge consists of an Adam Sandler song and the grade-school agony of watching other kids get presents for eight whole days when you had to wait all the way til Christmas, let the Maccabeats give you the low down on the Jewish Festival of Lights via Tiao Cruz's "Dynamite."
