Twelve Days of Christmas Flash Mobs: ‘In the Heights’

One of the best things about Christmas is watching a child’s face as the wrapping paper is ripped off to discover the thing he or she wanted more than anything else in the world. For that moment, the youngster’s life is perfect.

As we get older, these moments are much harder to come by, but the Twelve Days of Christmas Flash Mobs crew is nothing if not determined.

Here we have childlike wonder, as expressed by the multi-talented Lin-Manuel Miranda, when a group of 300 people did a flash mob performance of ‘96,000,’ a song from his musical ‘In the Heights.’ An unsuspecting Miranda was eating lunch at Universal CityWalk, during the ‘Heights’ run earlier this year at the Pantages Theater.
