Now that Broadway’s ‘Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark’ has an official opening date -- one that is likely to stick -- producers are starting to rev up the publicity machinery in an effort to spark interest in what is being described as the most expensive musical in Broadway history.

On Friday morning, ABC’s ‘Good Morning America’ will provide an early peek at one song from ‘Spider-Man.’ Reeve Carney, who has been cast in the title role in the musical, will perform a song from the show in front of a live audience at the Hudson Theatre in midtown New York. The score for the musical has been written by U2’s Bono and The Edge.
