The Los Angeles production of ‘Love, Loss and What I Wore’ at the Geffen Playhouse continues to book diverse talent for its rotating cast of actresses. The latest performers to sign on for the production are Meredith Baxter, Tony-winner Marissa Jaret Winokur and Gina Torres.

The new cast of ‘Love, Loss and What I Wore’ -- two more actresses will be announced later -- will officially open on Aug. 5 and will run through Aug 29 at the Geffen’s Audrey Skirball Kenis Theater.

Baxter was one of the stars of ‘Family Ties,’ the popular ‘80s NBC sitcom. Winokur won a Tony in 2003 for her performance as Tracy Turnblad in Broadway’s ‘Hairspray.’

Torres is the wife of actor Laurence Fishburne, who is appearing down the hall at the Geffen in a production of ‘Thurgood.’

Written by Nora and Delia Ephron, the show is a reading of tales dealing with romance and fashion as told from the woman’s point of view. The production is adapted from the book of the same name by Ilene Beckerman. It also contains reminiscences of the Ephron sisters, who grew up in the L.A. area.

Previous and current cast members of the L.A. show include Rita Wilson, Caroline Aaron, Carol Kane, Natasha Lyonne, Nancy Travis, Rhea Perlman, Tyne Daly and Glenne Headley.

The show originated in New York last year and recently launched a Toronto version.
