There were big stars onstage at the opening-night performance of the Donmar Warehouse production of the musical ‘Parade’ at the Mark Taper Forum -- including former ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ star T.R. Knight as Leo Frank, Broadway’s Charlotte D’Amboise, Lara Pulver and Christian Hoff, Tony Award winner for his role in ‘Jersey Boys.’

But there were even more in the audience. Among the celebrity guests at the Tony Award winning musical -- based on the true story of Leo Frank, convicted for the murder of 13-year-old Mary Phagan in Atlanta in 1913 -- were Halle Berry, Jason Alexander, Justin Chambers, Marc Cherry, Melissa George, Sean Hayes, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Richard Kind, Michael Sheen, Brenda Strong and Tracie Thoms.

The musical has a book by Alfred Uhry and music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown, was co-conceived by Harold Prince and directed and choreographed by Rob Ashford.
