Now that Michael Govan has said that he will sit down with members of Save Film at LACMA to discuss the fate of the museum’s 40-year-old film program, the group of film lovers (which has launched a campaign to save the program) announced today via Twitter that it wants your suggestions for the course of the upcoming meeting.

@savefilmlacma wrote this morning: ‘we want to hear from people about what they want from a meeting with Michael Govan, dir. of LACMA?’

People can message the group directly via Twitter or can leave comments on its Facebook page.

The group’s online petition asking the museum to reverse its decision has so far collected more than 1,500 signatures, including several high-profile directors like Martin Scorsese and Bertrand Tavernier.
