Ticket info announced for Dudamel’s debut

Following Thursday’s news on Culture Monster about ‘¡Bienvenido Gustavo!,’ the Los Angeles Philharmonic has revealed details about ticketing for the musical festival.

“¡Bienvenido Gustavo!’ will be Gustavo’s Dudamel’s first appearance as music director of the Phil. The five-hour musical festival at the Hollywood Bowl will begin at 4 p.m. on Oct. 3. A page devoted to the concert is now up on the L.A. Phil website (www.laphil.com/bienvenido).

Today’s news:

--Tickets will be available beginning at noon Aug. 1.

--Up to four tickets per person may be obtained at the Hollywood Bowl box office, 2301 N. Highland Ave., Hollywood. Hours are from noon to 6 p.m.Tuesdays through Sundays.

--Requests also may be made by calling the Bowl at (323) 850-2000, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. A 75-cent-per-ticket charge will be applied.

--Tickets also will be available online via Ticketmaster. Service fees will apply. The web page for ticket ordering is not ready yet.

--Parking will be the Bowl’s usual stack parking with no early exit. Prices range from $14 to $30.

--Park-and-ride buses will begin running at 2 p.m. Cost is $5 per person round trip when purchased in advance (see website for details on locations and purchasing information) and $8 per person round trip the day of the show.

--The Bowl gates will open at 3 p.m.
