Jerry Brown just joking about violating Brown Act, aide says
As Gov. Jerry Brown entered a closed-door session in October with the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors that was being challenged for allegedly violating the state's open meetings law, he said: "Let's get our Brown Act cover story." An aide said the governor was just kidding.
