Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed his own advisor on judicial appointments, Sharon Majors-Lewis, to a judgeship of her own in San Diego County Superior Court on Friday.

The appointment of Majors-Lewis, who will earn $178,789 as a judge, marks the second time in as many weeks that Schwarzenegger has tapped one of his own advisors to a spot in the judiciary. She was also a former chief deputy district attorney in San Diego County.
