Meg Whitman: Now available in Mandarin and Cantonese

Meg Whitman has already embarked upon the most expensive Latino outreach program for a Republican candidate in California in recent memory.

Now, Whitman has expanded her multilingual advertising blitz to include Mandarin and Cantonese. Whitman’s campaign announced the two new spots in a press release Tuesday. The ads are visually identical with different voice-overs.

The ads include a montage of still shots of Whitman with Asian leaders, as well as photos of Asian shop owners, and of course, cute Asian schoolchildren. The scripts focus on Whitman’s business record and her vow to cut government regulation.
