Billionaire George Soros drops $1 million on marijuana legalization fight

Billionaire George Soros has donated $1 million to the Yes on Proposition 19 campaign, according to records from the secretary of State’s office.

Soros’ donation comes as polls show support for the measure is waning. A new Los Angeles Times/USC poll showed just 39% of likely voters in favor of the measure. Nearly 51% said they were opposed.
