Meg Whitman has hewed closely throughout this hour-long debate to her campaign’s key points: highlighting her plans to focus on jobs, education and cutting spending.

Brown has been far more free-wheeling, including saying ‘hell’ twice and ‘damn’ at least once, by my count.
