First Take: State sues pension board officials. Gubernatorial spin cycle. How Arizona is affecting California politics

Atty. Gen. Jerry Brown has filed suit against two CalPERS officials in connection with an alleged scheme to use gifts to persuade board members to get business for investment firms.
