Got a question for Meg Whitman or Steve Poizner? You can now e-mail those questions to be part of the first head-to-head debate between the two Republican gubernatorial candidates. The debate, which will take place March 15 in Costa Mesa, will be moderated by KNBC-TV Channel 4’s Conan Nolan. But you can send your questions through debate hosts, New Majority California, at a new debate Website.

The debate will be an hour long. Each candidate will be given two minutes to answer a question and a minute for a rebuttal. Each candidate will be given a three-minute closing statement. You will also be able to stream the debate live at NewMajorityDebate.com
New Majority describes itself as a nonprofit organization “dedicated to supporting fiscally conservative and socially inclusive views.” Some of the group’s members have been Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s largest political donors.
