Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s comment this week about Iowa hasn’t sat well with the governor of the Hawkeye State. ‘No matter where you go in the world, people still want to come to California,’ Schwarzenegger said. ‘There’s no one screaming, like, ‘I can’t wait to get to Iowa.’ That I can guarantee you. They want to come here to California.’

Egged on by a local TV reporter, Iowa Gov. Chet Culver, a bulky politician in his own right, said, “We can take Arnold, absolutely.” Asked whether he achieved his size without steroids, which Schwarzenegger has admitted to using, Culver said with a laugh, ‘Iowa does it the right way.’

“Iowa is a great place. Great place to vacation. Great place to live,’ Culver said, ‘and I doubt that he’ll ever make the mistake of repeating something like that again.’
