110 Freeway will be like a parking lot
Fans attending the UCLA-Washington State game at the Rose Bowl are encouraged to arrive at the Rose Bowl early and tailgate or visit the Fan Zone in Area H, which opens at 3 p.m.
In addition to the UCLA game, which begins at 7:15 p.m., USC will play at the L.A. Coliseum at 5 p.m. and the Dodgers will be host to the Chicago Cubs at Dodger Stadium at 7 p.m.
Fans going to the Rose Bowl should avoid the 110 Freeway if possible to avoid the traffic in the downtown area and plan on arriving early.

Add one more traffic-related convergence to this perfect storm. Per yesterday's LA Times, "singer Neil Diamond performs at Staples Center at 8 p.m." That makes one grand slam of a bodacious bottleneck. And let's not even think about tomorrow's weather forecast of a chance of sprinkles. You know what even the slightest amount of rain can do to our freeway traffic.
